How many young Tanzanians return to their villages after studying because their parents cannot afford further schooling for them?
Books 4 Tanzania is a small independent charitable organisation sourcing books for rural libraries and supporting small educational projects.
Your charitable contributions will determine the future of these children, by helping to enhance literacy levels and allowing them, together with adults, to find out about about the rest of the world.
To date we have collected and sorted thousands of books from publishers, schools, universities, libraries and generous private donors. These are then shipped to identified beneficiaries in Tanzania in order to fill library shelves, especially small projects outside mainstream.
We completed our first exciting project in February 2006.
