How many young Tanzanians return to their villages after studying because their parents cannot afford further schooling for them?
Books 4 Tanzania is a small independent charity organisation sourcing books for rural libraries and running educational projects.
Your charity contributions will determine the future of these children, by helping to enhance literacy levels.
To date we have collected and sorted thousands of books from publishers, schools, colleges, libraries and generous private donors. These are then shipped to contacts in Tanzania in order to fill library shelves, especially in teachers' centres and schools.
We completed our first exciting project in February 2006.
